Alita Ngo

Historical Fiction author, Alita Maria Ngo, lives with her sister, two grown daughters and son-in-law in Artesia, California, a small suburb of Los Angeles County.  She is a retired Catholic and public grade school teacher, who also enjoyed teaching catechism to children with special needs for several years.  Alita holds an M. A. in Religious Studies from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, and is a member of the Secular Carmelites of the St. Joseph Province, U. S.  She was a columnist with catholicstand.com for a year, and two of her children’s stories, Harriet’s Surprise, and  A Very Special May Crowning, have been published in the Catholic children’s magazine, St. Mary’s Messenger.  She loves expressing her faith through stories and is very excited about the publication of her first novel, Good Men and Grace, which is a historical fiction set during the pre-Civil War 1800s in the United States.

One of Alita’s favorite things to do is sharing early mornings over coffee and doughnuts with her sister, Annette.

Her novel, Good Men and Grace, is available from Full Quiver Publishing.
