Ellen Gable (Hrkach) is the author of nine novels, two non-fiction books and contributor to numerous other books. Her newest novel, Ella’s Promise, is the third in the Great War-Great Love series. The first and second, Julia’s Gifts and Charlotte’s Honor, were released in November of 2017 and October of 2018. Ella’s Promise recently received finalist awards in two international book contests: the 2020 International Book Awards and the 2020 IAN Book Awards (both in Religious Fiction.)

Ellen’s books have been downloaded 710,000 times, her books have three-quarters of a million pages read (through Kindle Select), and most of her books have received the Catholic Writers Guild Seal of Approval.
Ellen is a recent recipient of the her Alma Mater’s Hall of Fame (Triton Regional High School, Class of ’77). Ellen is past President of the Catholic Writers Guild (2012-2015). She has appeared numerous times on EWTN’s Bookmark with Doug Keck, EWTN radio and other Catholic TV and radio shows. A frequent presenter at Catholic conferences, Ellen speaks on a variety of pro-life topics: Pregnancy Loss, Theology of the Body, Responsible Parenthood, Natural Family Planning and various writing topics.
